Human Experimentation or Research Study?

Science fair time: the bane of every parent's existence. This year Mary wants to do a project that the whole family can join in on. We're going to be eating only healthy foods for a week, then for the second week of the project we get to eat junky foods. At the end o each day we report what we ate that day, and how we are feeling physically and mentally. The project is basically studying how what we eat affects how we function. It's definitely a different project and one that gives a great opportunity for her to learn how to tell if certain foods are healthy and what a serving actually is. Our first day was today, so I'll be reporting on how it goes for the next couple of weeks.

Other than that, things are pretty much the same for us. The baby is growing quickly, and he loves to be on the move. The girls are still enamored of him and regularly fight over who gets to hold him. He's started to roll almost immediately every time he's put down for tummy time and then starts to scoot himself toward wherever he wants to be. Unfortunately, he often gets frustrated while trying, so he doesn't get very far.

(The picture was taken today. He started out on his tummy by the rattle on the floor and moved himself.)
